Biography
Anna Tajak was born in Gorlice, Poland in 1992. She graduated from the Art High School in Rzeszów. 2013-2018 she studied in the Painting Department of Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. She did her diploma "The Smell of Silence Wafted in the Air. The Search for Abstract Equivalents of Nature” in the Painting Studio of Professor Adam Brincken and the Drawing Studio of Dr. Rafał Borcz. She received a distinction for it. She develops her painting explorations in oil painting and watercolour techniques. The landscapes are a key theme.
“Anna Tajak’s paintings depict boundless, uninhabited landscapes, often rendered in a fiery, warm palette of yellows, oranges, and reds, where vast skies gradually merge into reflective, darker forms of earth, building an atmosphere of evening melancholy and tension. The emptiness in her images is not a cool, contemplative infinity; rather, it swells with emotional, almost Romantic intensity. It becomes a projection of the self, a visual embodiment of contemporary solitude and longing.”
