This competition explores the profound and intricate role that memory plays in shaping our identities and experiences.
Patterns of Memory
The competition, named "Patterns of Memory," will be adjudicated by Caterina Corni, an esteemed art curator based in Milan, Italy. The jury will carefully examine submissions to uncover the myriad ways in which memory manifests in art, whether through cultural heritage, personal recollection, or the distortion of memories. Participants are invited to delve into themes such as remembrance, the storage of experiences, and the decoding of memory, all of which serve as an underlying language of consciousness.
