He is recognized as a contemporary painter specializing in acrylic paint on paper bonded to wood canvas. Pulvino is best known for his series titled "Custos Elephantorum," which features abstract depictions of African Elephant masks set against a distinctive black background. His artistic approach involves intricate black outlines and a limited palette of 5 to 6 colors, creating compositions that emphasize shape and form.
